⚾ 2026 Summer Baseball Registration Open

Our Summer Baseball Program is for ages 4–12

This is a learning and teaching league (no select teams / no tryouts).

The season consists of 8 games and is coached by parent volunteer coaches.
Games are held Monday –Friday.  No Sat/Sun games. No playoffs

🗓 Registration Dates

2026 Regular Registration:
May 7- May 29 (closes at 12 noon!!)

📅 Season Timeline

• June 7– tentative Coaches Meeting
• Week of June 18^th –Games Begin
• No games Friday, July 3^rd
• Games to conclude July 24 (depending on rain outs)

Important:

• Player must be 4 years old at the start of the season.
• Players may play up one year (5U and up) but cannot play down.

⚾ Game Schedules

• Games held Monday – Friday
• Monday–Friday start time range: 6:00pm –7:30 pm
• Schedules will be published 1 week prior to game start date.

🏋️ Practice Schedules

• Practice days, times, and locations are selected by the volunteer head coach.
• Practice requests cannot be accommodated.
• Sports are limited to 3 total events per week (games + practices).

👥 Team Formation

• Teams are formed by the CFISD school your child attends (If outside CFISD, list the school closest to your home).
• If necessary, neighboring schools may be combined.
• Players do not have to attend CFISD to participate.

📧 Team Assignment Notification

• Team Formation begins after registration closes. 
• Background checks on coaches must be completed before rosters are released.
• Once a coach has been placed and they receive their roster they will contact families via e-mail.

👋 Friend/Coach Requests

• Requests must be made before registration closes.
• Both players must be registered in the same division.
• Requests are not guaranteed.
• Players will not be moved to another age division to accommodate requests.

🧢 Coaches Registration

Please consider volunteering!

• Register as Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Manager (no cost).
• CFSA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization.
• Coaches must pass a yearly background check (in our system).
• Co-coaching is allowed.
• Coaches must verify rosters prior to the first game.  Failure to verify  could result in a game forfeiture.

• Belt (except Kid Pitch divisions)

Kid Pitch divisions receive:

• Jersey
• Hat only

⚠️ Incorrect sizes or lost jerseys will require a reorder if the vendor can accommodate.   Jersey cost, taxes and shipping are at the expense of the player’s family.

Email Policy

CFSA will not give, sell, or otherwise transfer addresses maintained by this website to any other party for the purposes of initiating, or enabling others to initiate, electronic mail messages.

Cy-Fair Sports Association requires all teams participating in our Spring or Fall league to provide a $300.00 sponsorship.  The monies are used to maintain and improve our facilities while allowing us to keep the league registration costs reasonable.  All checks shall be written to CFSA.  All team sponsorships shall be submitted to the CFSA office with attention to your team name, age group and head coaches name.  The CFSA office will provide you a receipt for tax purposes upon submittal of your team sponsorship.  Any amount over the $300 sponsorship, 80%, can go towards items purchased for the team.  Items will be paid out of pocket and CFSA will reimburse you based on proof of receipt.  Again this is only for the amount donated over the required $300.  

Mandatory Sponsorships are required regardless. 

The goal of CFSA Baseball is to provide a place for our youth to learn the fundamentals of baseball and good sportsmanship. To achieve our goal, parents and coaches must work together to teach fielding, throwing, and hitting skills while instilling sportsmanlike attitudes and values such as honesty, fair play, and citizenship. Having a good attitude, winning and losing with dignity, respecting the official's decisions, playing by the rules, and giving maximum effort are equally as important as the development of solid baseball fundamental skills. Coaches, players, and parents are all expected to know and demonstrate the CFSA Fundamentals of Sportsmanship. It is the responsibility of all participants in the CFSA Baseball program to work towards achieving our goal.
