CFSA Jr. Hurricanes at Schiel Road Sports Complex
Cy-Fair Sports Association (CFSA) and Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) have teamed up to bring the Cy-Fair community a one-of-a-kind, local soccer program for Boys & Girls ages Age 4 – 11; PLAYERS MUST TURN 4 (FOUR) YEARS OLD PRIOR TO THE FIRST TRAINING SESSION. Teams are single gender, NOT co-ed.
2023 SPRING Schedule
The league is open to boys & girls Age 4-11. The program begins with 2 team formation training sessions to assess the player's ability to ensure parity between the CFSA teams.
November 1 Registration opens
February 6 Late Registration begins - all groups closed, except 7U, girls, 8U, girls, 9U girls, 10U girls & 11/12U girls
February 7 1st Team formation training session
February 14 2nd Team formation training session (Uniforms distributed)
February 17 Teams rostered
February 21 1st training session in teams (Uniforms distributed)
February 23 Full game schedule finalized and distributed
February 26 1st game
May 7 Final game
COMPLETE TRAINING & GAME SCHEDULE
Training Dates: February 7, 14, 21, 28 March 21, 28 April 11, 18, 25 May 2
Game Dates: February 26 March 5, 26 April 2, 16, 23, 30 May 7
Games are 1 hour on Sundays between 1:00 - 4:45 PM at Schiel Road Complex.
The full game schedule will be sent out after the 3rd training session. Uniforms are provided for Sunday games, home and away jerseys, shorts and socks.
All practices & games will be at Schiel Road Sports complex, 22515 Schiel Rd. Cypress, TX 77433. Players will need to wear soccer cleats (NO metal cleats) and shin guards. Bring a size 4 soccer ball, water, bug spray and sunscreen to the training sessions and Sunday games. These items are the responsibility of the player.
Cost per player is $195 which includes all practices, games, uniform, referees and staffing

CFSA Soccer Spring 2023 Information
10 weeks February 6 - May 7
Practice is 1 hour on Tuesdays at Schiel Rd. Sports Complex
Age 4-6 Age Group 5:30-6:30 PM (Games 3 vs 3) All teams are single gender
Age 7-8 Age Group 6:30-7:30 PM (Games 4 vs 4) All teams are single gender
Age 9-11 Age Group 7:30-8:30 PM (Games 5 vs 5 with a Goal Keeper) All teams are single gender
Age groups are determined by players age between January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023. PLAYERS MUST TURN 4 (FOUR) YEARS OLD PRIOR TO THE FIRST TRAINING SESSION.
Unlimited Friend Requests:
Age 4-6 – 6 players per team (5 Friend requests)
Age 7-8 – 8 players per team (7 Friend requests)
Age 9-11 – 10 players per team (9 Friend requests)
Friend requests must be made at registration in the player notes field. All requests must be made by all parties.
PARENT INFORMATION All practices are covered by our professionally trained coaching staff. Sunday games are coached on field, refereed and overseen by Jr. Hurricanes staff. CFSA is looking for parent volunteers to help substitute players in and out of games on game day. If you are interested in volunteering as a parent volunteer, please add your name in the volunteer section of the CFSA registration when you register. A parent volunteer’s main duties are to substitute the players in and out of the games, give equal playing time to each player and to be a positive influence on the sidelines.
Cy-Fair Sports Association will issue a refund minus a $50 administrative fee any time prior to the close of regular registration for any program. There are no refunds once the season starts.
