Fall Soccer 2024 Registration OPENS 4/26
Cy-Fair Sports Association (CFSA) and Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) have teamed up to bring the Cy-Fair community a one-of-a-kind, local soccer program for Boys & Girls ages Age 4 – 10 (U5-U10)
Difference between the Jr. Hurricanes & other recreational soccer programs:
- Experienced and professionally trained coaching staff
- Players coached by staff at training & Sunday games on the field
- Very organized & structured recreational soccer program
- United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Age Appropriate Curriculum
- Pathway to Albion Hurricanes FC competitive soccer program
- Small sided games to ensure all players are engaged, and to maximize the amount of touches and goals.
FALL PROGRAM BASICS:
- Practices and Games will be held at Schiel Road Sports Complex, 22515 Schiel Rd., Cypress, TX 77433
- Teams are single gender, NOT co-ed
- Age groups are determined by player age between January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. So, you will register your child for the age group of the age they will turn in 2024. Player MUST turn 4 years old prior to the first practice date.
- 1 Hour Practices (total of 10) will be held on Tuesday evenings:
- U5 – U6 practice from 5:30 – 6:30PM (3 vs 3)
- U7 – U8 practice from 6:30 – 7:30PM (4 vs 4)
- U9 – U10 practice from 7:30 – 8:30 PM (5 vs 5 with a Goalkeeper)
- Games (total of 8) are 1 hour on Sundays, starting at 1:00 PM – 5:45 PM

September 3 – 1st Team Formation Training Session
September 10 – 2nd Team Formation Training Session
September 13 – Teams Rostered
September 17 – 3rd Training Session (1st Training Session as TEAMS and Uniforms Distributed) – Full game schedule finalized and distributed.
September 22 – 1st Game
November 10 – Final Game
COMPLETE TRAINING SCHEDULE:
Training Dates: September 3, 10, 17, 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Novemeber 5.
Game Dates: September 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20, 27; Novemeber 3, 10.
FRIEND/COACH REQUEST:
Age U5 – U6 – 7 players per team (5 Friend requests)
Age U7 – U8 – 9 players per team (7 Friend requests)
Age U10 – U10 – 11 players per team (9 Friend requests)
Friend requests must be made at registration in the player notes field. All requests must be made by all parties.
UNIFORMS: Registration cost includes home and away jersey(s), shorts, and socks. The size you select during registration is what you will be given at the 3rd practice.

OTHER INFORMATION: All practices are covered by our professionally trained coaching staff. Sunday games are coached on field, refereed, and overseen by Jr. Hurricanes staff. CFSA is looking for parent volunteers to help substitute players in and out of games on game day. If you are interested in volunteering as a parent volunteer, please add your name in the volunteer section of the CFSA registration when you register. A parent volunteers main duties are to substitute the players in and out of the games, give equal playing time to each player and to be a positive influence on the sidelines.

Please do not unsubscribe your email address during the season as you will not receive important information & communication from the CFSA soccer program.

REFUND POLICY: Cy-Fair Sports Association will issue a refund minus a $50 administrative fee any time prior to the close of regular registration (September 2, 2024) if you complete the online Refund Request (https://www.cy- fairsports.org/Registration/Refunds).
